What I found worked for me in the past, (because I don't drink in such a
way as to have hangovers any more) is to have the following, on the next
morning:
Strong hot black tea (very strong, to the point where you can't see the
bottom of the cup), sweetened quite generously - to the level of Coke or
even sweeter - with real sweetener - sugar or honey - like three
teaspoons per cup. Add to that a large lemon piece (a quarter to 1/3 of
a lemon per cup), and have at least two or three cups of the stuff -
eating the lemon pieces in the process (rind included). Worked like a
charm for me. Stopped the nausea and headache, and restored appetite for
breakfast.
