Sitting down here in the warehouse drudging away at the paperwork with
the stray alleycat Sloopy helping cover the floor with invoices,
schedules, notices and other useless detrius of the modern small
business. But the music is just entrancing.

Nate Lee came to work with us several summers ago from Texas where he
was the state old-time fiddler champeen in his age group. He is a
classic straight-shooter of a young man and a delight to be around.
Things didn't go well for him on a sojourn to Colorado so he came back
here to get his feet back under him and keep playing. I've seen some
amazing fiddlers in my time, but Nate is up there with the best. He is
staying in the apartment here at the warehouse and working around and
doing a little touring while life sorts itself out for him. Ah, the
life of a musician. Who'd a thunk that the young man I hired to serve
excellent drinks would become one of the up and coming stars in the
world of bluegrass and oldtime music? Not me. But I sure do enjoy
sitting down here plodding away on paperwork a lot more than when it
was just me and Sloopy. peace on ya'.
