Changing palate

by ColinL <colin@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 27, 2007 at 05:11 AM

I've noticed as I drink more and more whiskies from more and more
different regions, the more I appreciate whisky in general. I don't
mean I'm becoming a snob about whisky and better appreciate rare, old,
expensive whisky -- I mean I'm starting to find really good things in
even cheap blends.

The first time I drank Bushmills Black, I hated it utterly. About a
year, and 60 or so different whiskies later, I decided to give it a
try again, and to my amazement, I love the stuff!

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Does practice make perfect
even with whisky drinking?

Colin.
