With grill roasted (beer can) chicken, fingerling potato salad with
truffled vinegarette and grilled summer veggies. The 2002 Domaine
Dujac Clos de la Roche was a bit lighter in color than expected.
Plenty of sweet red cherry and vanilla on the nose with a bit of
earthy mineral notes. Medium bodied on the palate with a very ripe
red berry and cherry flavor that was well balanced with a zippy
acidity on the finish. The wine was still quite young and showed a
fair amount of fine tannic structure. A very solid "A"
