Just back from a week in the Baronnies, it was 38 C, now back in Normandie
16 C and raining. Not much wine news except for an excellent visit to
Fauc=

Dor=E9. Tasted (and bought) a delicious late harvest grenache rose made
wi=
th
help from an Alsace winemaker. A yield of 4 hl/ha, with enormous
alcoholic
potential but blocked at 14 to leave 110 gms of residual sugar. Zesty
and=

delicious, smooth as silk. Another success!
Now off to Boston, hope to try a Zin or two.
