I stumbled upon this2006 Scarpetta in small out of way wine store
while visiting Colorado recently and I picked up the last two bottles
that they had on close-out for $15.00. It's a Tokai Friulano im****ted
by Bobby Stuckey. I had it with a simple summer meal of cold roasted
chicken, grilled veggies, Caprese salad, assorted cheeses and bread.
Nice almond and vanilla nose. A bit spicy on the palate, some lemon
and orange notes a bit of floral on the finish. Nice summer quaffer.
