WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast for Russian Imperial Stouts?

by liddytime <liddytime@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 25, 2008 at 07:10 PM

Have any of you ever used the WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast for Russian
Imperial Stouts? I am planning an RIS with an OG around 1.110
(hopefully finish in the 20's) & was planning on using my old stand-by
Wyeast 1056 or possibly their Irish Ale. When I looked on the White
Labs site I noticed the only strain they gave "4 stars" to was the
007. Anyone tried it?

Thanks!
