Flame out (FYI)

by Faux_Pseudo <Faux.Pseudo@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 17, 2008 at 01:10 AM

When you know that your propane tank is probably on its last batch
then it is a good idea to keep an eye on the flame. After I did a hop
addition I ran off for a few minutes to clean my chiller and then came
back out to check the boil and noticed no more boil to check on. I
still had flames but not enough BTUs to get the job done. So I killed
the heat and hooked up the other tank and had it back to a boil in
about 40 seconds. Catastrophe avoided.
