so i was brought up on teabags , and just got in to loose leaf tea 6
months ago.
i find the loose leaf tea amazing and have about 25 types at home from
whites, greens, blacks, puerh, a whole spectrum of tea tasting.
i recently picked up a didgital scale and measured out how much i
normally would use . to see how much i was using normally for
different teas.
the weights ranged from 3.5 to 7 grams per cup, that i had been using,
some of the green gunpowders i was way over in the estimating of
grams.
so i was dosing myself with mega caffeine and found some teas got
better after the 2nd to 3rd infusing, now i know why, too much darn
tea to start with.
now i have been introduced to another spectrum of flavours to these
teas, which were hidden by the overpoering use of tea. a more subtle
flavouring
i had been brought up on black finings tea bags and thought all teas
were supposed to be the same harsh acidic, tannic stuff.
so to all you newbies out there, invest in a cheap 10 dollar digital
scale
